Stubborn
Stubborn, like a burr stuck in wool some may say
but today let's call this stubborness borne from hard life: focus
it's not hopeless this life that passes by
in the blink of an eye a seed is a flower
Memory
attentiveness is the key
if you don't pay attention you don't really see
and yet these words we pay attention to don't mean a thing
only you can give power to the things our minds sing
Religion
religion for me is an escape
I wear it like a cape
but truly I don't see
they've used religion against me
made me afraid to praise a name
that should be shouted from the highest mountain
A little different than how others did it, but different is good. I like them all, but more so the one on memory, I also like how you added a few rhymes.
